जाम्बवत्या वचः श्रुत्वा जगन्नाथस्ततो हरिः तपस्तप्तुं समारेभे तपोनिधिरनिन्दितः

Transliteration

jāmbavatyā vacaḥ śrutvā jagannāthastato hariḥ tapastaptuṃ samārebhe taponidhiraninditaḥ

Translation

Tendo ouvido as palavras de Jāmbavatī, Hari—Senhor do universo—passou então a empreender austeridades. Irrepreensível e tesouro de tapas, entregou-se ao ardor da disciplina espiritual.
