देवादिसृष्टिकथनम् (वसिष्ठशोकः, पराशरजन्म, एकलिङ्गपूजा, रुद्रदर्शनम्)

सा गर्भं पालयामास कथंचिन्मुनिपुङ्गवाः कुलसंधारणार्थाय शक्तिपत्नी पतिव्रता

sā garbhaṃ pālayāmāsa kathaṃcinmunipuṅgavāḥ kulasaṃdhāraṇārthāya śaktipatnī pativratā

Ó melhor dos sábios, ela de algum modo sustentou e protegeu a gravidez—ela, a esposa devota (pativratā) dotada de Śakti—somente para preservar a continuidade da linhagem familiar.
