Adhyaya 63: Daksha’s Progeny, Kashyapa’s Offspring, and the Rishi-Vamshas that Sustain the Worlds

वसवस्ते समाख्याताः सर्वभूतहितैषिणः आपो ध्रुवश् च सोमश् च धरश्चैवानिलो ऽनलः

vasavaste samākhyātāḥ sarvabhūtahitaiṣiṇaḥ āpo dhruvaś ca somaś ca dharaścaivānilo 'nalaḥ

Assim foram declarados os Vasus—os que sempre buscam o bem de todos os seres: Āpa (as Águas), Dhruva (o Firme/Polar), Soma (a Lua), Dhara (o Sustentador/a Terra), Anila (o Vento) e Anala (o Fogo).
