युगाक्षकोटिसम्बद्धौ द्वौ रश्मी स्यन्दनस्य तु ध्रुवेण भ्रमते रश्मिनिबद्धः स युगाक्षयोः

Transliteration

yugākṣakoṭisambaddhau dvau raśmī syandanasya tu dhruveṇa bhramate raśminibaddhaḥ sa yugākṣayoḥ

Translation

Dois raios do carro do Sol estão presos às pontas das varas do jugo. Preso por esses raios, ele gira em torno de Dhruva (a Estrela Polar), circulando como que sustentado pelas extremidades do jugo—assim o movimento cósmico prossegue na ordem estabelecida.
