भुवनकोशविन्यासनिर्णयः (ज्योतिर्गति-वृष्टिचक्र-वर्णनम्)

तस्माद्दीर्घेण कालेन भूमिमल्पां तु गच्छति स रथो धिष्ठितो भानोर् आदित्यैर्मुनिभिस् तथा

Transliteration

tasmāddīrgheṇa kālena bhūmimalpāṃ tu gacchati sa ratho dhiṣṭhito bhānor ādityairmunibhis tathā

Translation

Por isso, ao longo de muito tempo, esse carro percorre apenas uma pequena porção da terra—pois é sustentado e governado, para Bhānu (o Sol), pelos Ādityas e pelos sábios munis. Assim, pelo movimento medido do Sol, Kāla (o Tempo) regula o mundo.
