Adhyaya 40: Kali-yuga Lakshana, Yuga-sandhyamsha, and the Re-emergence of Dharma

क्रमेण परिवृत्ता तु मनोरन्तरम् उच्यते चतुर्युगे यथैकस्मिन् भवतीह यदा तु यत्

krameṇa parivṛttā tu manorantaram ucyate caturyuge yathaikasmin bhavatīha yadā tu yat

Quando os ciclos se sucedem na devida ordem, esse intervalo é chamado manvantara. Do mesmo modo, dentro de cada conjunto de quatro yugas, tudo o que aqui ocorre acontece segundo o seu tempo e medida próprios.
