ब्रह्मनारायणस्तवः — शिवस्य प्रभवत्व-प्रतिपादनम्

दीप्तिः सूर्ये वपुश्चन्द्रे स्थैर्यं शैले ऽनिले बलम् औष्ण्यमग्नौ तथा शैत्यम् अप्सु शब्दो ऽम्बरे तथा

dīptiḥ sūrye vapuścandre sthairyaṃ śaile 'nile balam auṣṇyamagnau tathā śaityam apsu śabdo 'mbare tathā

O fulgor habita no Sol; a beleza e a forma, na Lua; a firmeza, na montanha; a força, no vento; o calor, no fogo; a frescura, nas águas; e o som, no céu—assim se conhece o Senhor, Pati (Śiva), pelos poderes inatos de todos os elementos.
