आचार्यपुत्रे पत्न्यां च अहोरात्रमुदाहृतम् / एकाहं स्यादुपाध्याये स्वग्रामे श्रोत्रिये ऽपि च
ācāryaputre patnyāṃ ca ahorātramudāhṛtam / ekāhaṃ syādupādhyāye svagrāme śrotriye 'pi ca
Para o filho do ācārya e para sua esposa, declara-se que a impureza é de um dia e uma noite. Para o upādhyāya (mestre) e também para um śrotriya (brâmane versado nos Vedas) na própria aldeia, deve ser de um dia.
