श्वो भविष्यति मे श्राद्धं पूर्वेद्युरभिपूज्य च / असंभवे परेद्युर्वा यथोक्तैर्लक्षणैर्युतान्
śvo bhaviṣyati me śrāddhaṃ pūrvedyurabhipūjya ca / asaṃbhave paredyurvā yathoktairlakṣaṇairyutān
“Amanhã será realizado o meu śrāddha. Portanto, no dia anterior deve-se convidar e honrar respeitosamente os brāhmaṇas; se isso não for possível, então (pode-se fazê-lo) no dia seguinte—escolhendo aqueles dotados das qualificações prescritas.”
