भगवन्नाति वाहश्च नव पिण्डाः प्रदापयेत् / कथं देयं पितृभ्यश्च वाहस्यावाहनं कथम्

Transliteration

bhagavannāti vāhaśca nava piṇḍāḥ pradāpayet / kathaṃ deyaṃ pitṛbhyaśca vāhasyāvāhanaṃ katham

Translation

Disse Garuḍa: “Ó Senhor Bem-aventurado, devem-se oferecer nove piṇḍas e também prover quanto ao veículo de condução. Como devem essas oferendas ser dadas aos Pitṛs (Antepassados), e como deve o veículo ser invocado para o falecido?”
