देवानां पुण्यपापाभ्यां सुखमेवोत्तरोत्तरम् / तत्सुखं तूत्तरेषां च वायुपर्यन्तमेव च

devānāṃ puṇyapāpābhyāṃ sukhamevottarottaram / tatsukhaṃ tūttareṣāṃ ca vāyuparyantameva ca

Entre os Devas, devido às diferentes medidas de mérito e demérito, a felicidade aumenta passo a passo em posições cada vez mais elevadas. Essa mesma felicidade continua a crescer entre as divindades superiores sucessivas, estendendo-se até (a esfera de) Vāyu.
