Transliteration

ekadā sā tu sandhyāyām ucchiṣṭā vrata-karśitā aspṛṣṭa-vāry-adhautāṅghriḥ suṣvāpa vidhi-mohitā

Translation

Tendo ficado fraca e magra por seguir estritamente os princípios do voto, Diti uma vez adormeceu ao crepúsculo sem lavar a boca, mãos e pés após comer.
