Āgnīdhra Meets Pūrvacitti and Begets the Nine Sons of Jambūdvīpa
शिष्या इमे भगवत: परित: पठन्तिगायन्ति साम सरहस्यमजस्रमीशम् । युष्मच्छिखाविलुलिता: सुमनोऽभिवृष्टी:सर्वे भजन्त्यृषिगणा इव वेदशाखा: ॥ ९ ॥
śiṣyā ime bhagavataḥ paritaḥ paṭhanti gāyanti sāma sarahasyam ajasram īśam yuṣmac-chikhā-vilulitāḥ sumano ’bhivṛṣṭīḥ sarve bhajanty ṛṣi-gaṇā iva veda-śākhāḥ
Āgnīdhra disse: “Meu Senhor, os zangões que circundam teu corpo são como discípulos ao redor de tua pessoa adorável. Eles cantam incessantemente os mantras do Sāma Veda, com o segredo dos Upaniṣads, oferecendo louvores ao Īśa. Eles desfrutam a chuva de flores que cai de teus cabelos; assim como os sábios recorrem aos ramos do Veda, eles todos se entregam ao teu bhajana.”
