सत्यं दिशत्यर्थितमर्थितो नृणां नैवार्थदो यत्पुनरर्थिता यत: । स्वयं विधत्ते भजतामनिच्छता- मिच्छापिधानं निजपादपल्लवम् ॥ २७ ॥
satyaṁ diśaty arthitam arthito nṛṇāṁ naivārthado yat punar arthitā yataḥ svayaṁ vidhatte bhajatām anicchatām icchāpidhānaṁ nija-pāda-pallavam
A Suprema Personalidade de Deus concede o que o homem Lhe suplica, mas não dá uma bênção que o faça suplicar de novo e de novo. Contudo, mesmo sem ser desejado, o Senhor oferece por Si mesmo o abrigo de Seus pés de lótus, que satisfaz todos os anseios. Essa é Sua misericórdia especial.
The devotees mentioned in the previous verse approach the Supreme Personality of Godhead with material motives, but this verse explains how such devotees are saved from those desires. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (2.3.10) advises:

This verse says the Lord may grant requested boons, but such gifts often fuel further craving; therefore they are not the highest mercy.
Because for selfless devotees the Lord gives His own lotus feet, which end restless desire and grant ultimate fulfillment (bhakti leading to liberation).
Pray less for outcomes and more for devotion and character; align actions with service, and treat gains as secondary while seeking steady remembrance of the Lord.
