Varṣa-devatā Worship in Jambūdvīpa: Hayagrīva/Hayaśīrṣa, Nṛsiṁha, Kāmadeva (Pradyumna), Matsya, Kūrma, and Varāha
यस्मिन्नसङ्ख्येयविशेषनाम- रूपाकृतौ कविभि: कल्पितेयम् । सङ्ख्या यया तत्त्वदृशापनीयते तस्मै नम: साङ्ख्यनिदर्शनाय ते इति ॥ ३३ ॥
yasminn asaṅkhyeya-viśeṣa-nāma- rūpākṛtau kavibhiḥ kalpiteyam saṅkhyā yayā tattva-dṛśāpanīyate tasmai namaḥ sāṅkhya-nidarśanāya te iti
Ó Senhor, Teu nome, Tua forma e os traços do Teu corpo expandem-se em manifestações incontáveis; ninguém pode determinar seu número exato. Contudo, Tu mesmo, em Tua encarnação como o sábio Kapiladeva, analisaste a manifestação cósmica como composta de vinte e quatro tattvas. Portanto, quem deseja conhecer o Sāṅkhya, pelo qual se enumeram as verdades, deve ouvi-lo de Ti; os não devotos apenas contam elementos e permanecem ignorantes de Tua forma real. Ofereço-Te minhas reverentes reverências, revelador do Sāṅkhya.
