Transliteration

pūgaiḥ savṛntai rambhābhiḥ paṭṭikābhiḥ suvāsasām ādarśair aṁśukaiḥ sragbhiḥ kṛta-kautuka-toraṇām

Translation

Onde quer que o Senhor Rāmacandra visitasse, erguiam-se portais auspiciosos de boas-vindas, com bananeiras e palmeiras de areca com seus cachos, repletos de flores e frutos. Os portais eram adornados com bandeiras de tecidos coloridos, faixas, espelhos e guirlandas.
