Certo dia, os dois chefes da família saíram em busca de alimento para os filhotes; ansiosos por alimentá-los bem, vagaram por toda a floresta durante muito tempo.
This verse depicts two householders compelled to wander in a forest simply to obtain food, highlighting how material maintenance can force one into hardship and anxiety.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates this within the Avadhūta’s teaching to illustrate how worldly necessity can bind a person, encouraging detachment and spiritual discernment.
Recognize how constant chasing of necessities and comforts can consume time and peace; simplify needs, practice gratitude, and prioritize sādhana so life is not spent only “searching for food.”
