Parīkṣit’s Final Absorption, Takṣaka’s Bite, Janamejaya’s Snake Sacrifice, and the Vedic Sound-Lineage
सूत उवाच समाहितात्मनो ब्रह्मन् ब्रह्मण: परमेष्ठिन: । हृद्याकाशादभून्नादो वृत्तिरोधाद् विभाव्यते ॥ ३७ ॥
sūta uvāca samāhitātmano brahman brahmaṇaḥ parameṣṭhinaḥ hṛdy ākāśād abhūn nādo vṛtti-rodhād vibhāvyate
Sūta disse: Ó brāhmaṇa, do céu do coração de Brahmā, o Paramesthin cuja mente estava fixa em samādhi, surgiu a sutil vibração sonora do nāda transcendental; ela é percebida quando se cessa a audição externa.
