Kurukṣetra Pilgrimage: Sages Praise Kṛṣṇa; Vasudeva Inquires on Karma; Viṣṇu-yajña Performed
This verse shows Vasudeva’s inner longing being fulfilled when he meets Nanda, described as crossing the “ocean of desires,” implying that sincere, dharmic longing finds completion by the Lord’s arrangement and saintly association.
In the narrative mood of reunion, Vasudeva’s touch expresses affection, respect, and intimacy between elders and well-wishers—signaling heartfelt connection before words.
Cherish and nurture relationships with well-wishers (suhṛt), and recognize that deep anxieties and longings calm down when one reconnects with devotional community and sincere affection.
