श्रीशुक उवाच एवं युधिष्ठिरो राजा जरासन्धवधं विभो: । कृष्णस्य चानुभावं तं श्रुत्वा प्रीतस्तमब्रवीत् ॥ १ ॥

Transliteration

śrī-śuka uvāca evaṁ yudhiṣṭhiro rājā jarāsandha-vadhaṁ vibhoḥ kṛṣṇasya cānubhāvaṁ taṁ śrutvā prītas tam abravīt

Translation

Śukadeva Gosvāmī disse: Ao ouvir sobre a morte de Jarāsandha e também sobre o poder maravilhoso do onipotente Śrī Kṛṣṇa, o rei Yudhiṣṭhira, muito satisfeito, dirigiu-se ao Senhor assim.
