श्रुत्वैतद् रुरुधुर्भूपा नयन्तं पथि कन्यकाम् । भग्नवीर्या: सुदुर्मर्षा यदुभिर्गोवृषै: पुरा ॥ ५३ ॥

Transliteration

śrutvaitad rurudhur bhūpā nayantaṁ pathi kanyakām bhagna-vīryāḥ su-durmarṣā yadubhir go-vṛṣaiḥ purā

Translation

Ao saberem disso, os reis intolerantes —cuja força já fora quebrada antes pelos heróis Yadu— tentaram deter Śrī Kṛṣṇa no caminho enquanto Ele levava Sua noiva; mas os Yadu tornaram a despedaçar-lhes o poder.
