The Killing of Ariṣṭāsura and Kaṁsa’s Plot to Summon Kṛṣṇa

Ariṣṭāsura bramiu com extrema ferocidade e raspou o chão com os cascos. Com a cauda erguida e os olhos arregalados, rasgava os barrancos com a ponta dos chifres, soltando de vez em quando um pouco de fezes e urina.
This verse portrays Ariṣṭāsura’s demoniac frenzy—violent bellowing, tearing up the earth with horns, and an uncontrolled, maddened state—setting the scene for Krishna’s protection of Vraja.
The narration emphasizes the asuric condition: loss of dignity, uncontrolled senses, and destructive rage—contrasting with Krishna’s divine composure and the purity of Vṛndāvana.
It warns that unchecked anger and ego degrade one’s conduct and harm others; cultivating self-control and devotion helps prevent the mind from becoming destructive and “rigid” like the demon’s stare.
