Varṣā-Śarad Vṛndāvana-Śobha: The Beauty of the Rainy and Autumn Seasons in Vraja
This verse describes Kṛṣṇa sharing a simple meal—rice with yogurt—near the water, accompanied by Balarāma and the gopas, highlighting His intimate, friendly Vraja pastimes.
Śukadeva emphasizes that Kṛṣṇa’s Vraja līlā is shared with Saṅkarṣaṇa (Balarāma), His elder brother and constant companion, especially in the forest and communal activities with the boys.
It encourages simplicity, gratitude, and devotional companionship—sharing food and time in a spirit of friendship centered on Kṛṣṇa (satsaṅga and prasāda-bhāva).
