Garuḍa, Saubhari’s Curse, Kāliya’s Refuge, and Kṛṣṇa Saves Vraja from Forest Fire
This verse records the Vraja elders telling Nanda that Kṛṣṇa, though seized by Kāliya, was freed—highlighting the Lord’s protective grace toward His devotees.
After the danger of Kāliya’s attack, they approached Nanda to share the relieving news that his son had been released, consoling the community leader and father.
Remembering that deliverance can come unexpectedly (“diṣṭyā”) encourages steadiness in devotion and faith during crises, while continuing one’s duties without despair.
