Kāliya-damana: Kṛṣṇa Subdues the Serpent and Purifies the Yamunā

तं प्रेक्षणीयसुकुमारघनावदातं श्रीवत्सपीतवसनं स्मितसुन्दरास्यम् । क्रीडन्तमप्रतिभयं कमलोदराङ्‍‍‍‍‍घ्रि सन्दश्य मर्मसु रुषा भुजया चछाद ॥ ९ ॥

Transliteration

taṁ prekṣaṇīya-sukumāra-ghanāvadātaṁ śrīvatsa-pīta-vasanaṁ smita-sundarāsyam krīḍantam apratibhayaṁ kamalodarāṅghriṁ sandaśya marmasu ruṣā bhujayā cachāda

Translation

Kāliya viu Śrī Kṛṣṇa, trajando seda amarela, tão delicado e digno de contemplação; Seu corpo encantador brilhava como uma nuvem branca luminosa, em Seu peito havia a marca de Śrīvatsa, Seu rosto exibia um belo sorriso, e Seus pés lembravam o redemoinho de um lótus. Ele brincava sem medo na água. Ainda assim, o invejoso Kāliya, furioso, mordeu-Lhe o peito e então O envolveu por completo com suas espiras.
