Transliteration

evaṁ pṛthv-ādayaḥ pṛthvīm annādāḥ svannam ātmanaḥ doha-vatsādi-bhedena kṣīra-bhedaṁ kurūdvaha

Translation

Ó Vidura, o melhor dos Kurus: assim, Pṛthu e todos os que subsistem de alimento, pela diferença de ordenha, bezerro e recipiente, extraíram da Terra diversos tipos de “leite” e receberam seus mantimentos, simbolizados como leite.
