Raivata and Cākṣuṣa Manvantaras; Brahmā’s Prayers at Śvetadvīpa
Prelude to Samudra-manthana
Ajita is the Supreme Lord (Viṣṇu) who appears as an aṁśa (partial expansion) and acts as jagat-pati—the master and protector of the universe.
He is identifying the Lord’s appearance within a specific lineage, showing that the Supreme Lord manifests through particular parents and dynasties for divine purposes within the cosmic order.
By taking shelter of the Lord through bhakti—remembering that while worldly forces may overwhelm us, the Lord is ultimately unconquerable and can protect and guide one who sincerely depends on Him.
