एतत् कल्पविकल्पस्य प्रमाणं परिकीर्तितम् । यत्र मन्वन्तराण्याहुश्चतुर्दश पुराविद: ॥ ११ ॥

Transliteration

etat kalpa-vikalpasya pramāṇaṁ parikīrtitam yatra manvantarāṇy āhuś caturdaśa purāvidaḥ

Translation

Ó rei, em um kalpa, isto é, em um dia de Brahmā, ocorrem muitas mudanças chamadas vikalpas; a prova disso já te foi descrita por mim. Os sábios conhecedores dos Purāṇas determinaram que, em um dia de Brahmā, há quatorze manvantaras (eras de Manu).
