शताभ्यां मातलिं पाको रथं सावयवं पृथक् । सकृत्सन्धानमोक्षेण तदद्भुतमभूद् रणे ॥ २२ ॥
śatābhyāṁ mātaliṁ pāko rathaṁ sāvayavaṁ pṛthak sakṛt sandhāna-mokṣeṇa tad adbhutam abhūd raṇe
Pāka, outro asura, encaixou duzentas flechas no arco e as disparou de uma só vez, atingindo separadamente o carro com todos os seus apetrechos e o cocheiro Mātali. No campo de batalha, foi um feito verdadeiramente maravilhoso.
