Deva–Asura Battle after the Nectar; Bali’s Illusions and Hari’s Intervention
तस्य कर्मोत्तमं वीक्ष्य दुर्मर्ष: शक्तिमाददे । तां ज्वलन्तीं महोल्काभां हस्तस्थामच्छिनद्धरि: ॥ ४३ ॥
tasya karmottamaṁ vīkṣya durmarṣaḥ śaktim ādade tāṁ jvalantīṁ maholkābhāṁ hasta-sthām acchinad dhariḥ
Quando o Mahārāja Bali viu as atividades militares peritas de Indra, ele não conseguiu conter sua ira. Assim, ele pegou outra arma, conhecida como śakti, que ardia como um grande tição. Mas Indra cortou essa arma em pedaços enquanto ela ainda estava na mão de Bali.
