Sukta 108
यामृषयो भूतकृतो मेधां मेधाविनो विदुः । तया मामद्य मेधयाग्ने मेधाविनं कृणु
yā́m ṛ́ṣayo bhūtá-kṛto medhā́ṃ medhāvíno vidúḥ | táyā mā́m adyá medháyā́gne medhāvínaṃ kṛṇu ||
That Medhā which the seers, creators of beings, the wise in Medhā, have known—therewith, even with that Medhā, O Agni, make me to-day a man of understanding.
Essa Medhā que os rishis, criadores dos seres, os sábios em Medhā, conheceram — com ela, sim, com essa mesma Medhā, ó Agni, faz de mim hoje um homem de entendimento.
