ayáṃ te asmý úpa na éhy arvā́ṅ pratīcīnáḥ sahure viśva-dāvan | manyó vajrinn abhí na ā́ vavṛtsva hánāva dasyū́ṃr utá bodhy āpéḥ ||
Here am I thine: come near to us, hitherward, turned toward us, O impetuous, all-bestowing. O Manyu, bolt-bearing, roll thyself upon us; smite down the Dasyus, and be thou wakeful against the foe from afar.
Aqui estou, sou teu: aproxima-te de nós, vem para cá, volta-te para nós, ó impetuoso, doador de tudo. Ó Manyu, portador do vajra, lança-te sobre nós, envolve-nos; abate os Dasyus e permanece desperto contra o inimigo de longe.
Rishi: As above (Manyu-hymn tradition).
Devata: Manyu (with Indraic coloration via ‘vajrin’)
Chandas: Triṣṭubh
Primary: vira
Secondary: raudra
