Sukta 3

ये नः पितुः पितरो ये पितामहा अनूजहिरे सोमपीथं वसिष्ठाः । तेभिर्यमः संरराणो हवींष्युशन्नुशद्भिः प्रतिकाममत्तु

yé naḥ pitúḥ pitáro yé pitāmahā́ anūjahiré somapī́thaṃ vasíṣṭhāḥ | tébhir yamáḥ sáṃrarāṇó havī́ṃṣy uśán uśádbhiḥ pratikā́mam attu

They who are Fathers of our father, they who are grandfathers, who in succession reached the Soma-drinking—those most excellent: with them let Yama, rejoicing, eat the oblations, himself desiring, with the desirous, according to each wish.

Aqueles que são Pais de nosso pai, aqueles que são avôs, que em sucessão alcançaram o beber do Soma (somapītha) — os mais excelentes: com eles, que Yama, jubiloso, coma os havis (oferendas), ele mesmo desejante, com os desejantes, segundo cada desejo.
