Sukta 3

अग्निष्वात्ताः पितर एह गच्छत सदःसदः सदत सुप्रणीतयः । अत्तो हवींषि प्रयतानि बर्हिषि रयिं च नः सर्ववीरं दधात

agníṣvāttāḥ pítara éha gácchata sádaḥ-sadaḥ sadata supráṇītayaḥ | áttó havī́ṃṣi práyatāni barhíṣi rayíṃ ca naḥ sárvavīraṃ dadhāta

Ye Fathers, Agni-fed, come hither; sit ye down, seat after seat, ye rightly guided. As eaters, eat the oblations duly set upon the sacred grass, and bestow on us wealth, with all brave offspring.

Ó Pais nutridos por Agni (Agniṣvātta), vinde aqui; sentai-vos, assento após assento, vós bem conduzidos. Como comedores, comei as oblações devidamente postas sobre a relva sagrada (barhis) e concedei-nos riqueza e descendência toda valorosa.
