सं काशयामि वहतुं ब्रह्मणा गृहैरघोरेण चक्षुषा मित्रियेण । पर्याणद्धं विश्वरूपं यदस्ति स्योनं पतिभ्यः सविता तत् कृणोतु
sáṃ kāśayāmi vahatúṃ bráhmaṇā gṛháir aghóreṇa cákṣuṣā mitríyeṇa | paryā́ṇaddhaṃ viśvá-rūpaṃ yád ásti syónáṃ patíbhyaḥ savitā́ tát kṛṇotu
I make the bridal-bearing wholly manifest, with sacred power, with the home, with benign eye, with friendly accord. Whatso is bound about, of every form and furnishing—let Savitar make that kindly for the husbands.
Torno plenamente manifesto o cortejo nupcial (vahatu) — pelo poder do brahman, com a casa, com olhar não-terrível, com acordo amistoso. Tudo o que está atado ao redor, de toda forma e adorno — que Savitar o faça benigno, propício e acolhedor (syona) para os maridos.
