चित्रविन्देति ख , छ च एवमादीनि देवीनां सहस्राणि तु षोडश प्रद्युम्नाद्याश् च रुक्मिण्यां भीमाद्याः सत्यभामया
citravindeti kha , cha ca evamādīni devīnāṃ sahasrāṇi tu ṣoḍaśa pradyumnādyāś ca rukmiṇyāṃ bhīmādyāḥ satyabhāmayā
«Citravindā» e (outras designadas pelas sílabas) kha, cha e ca—assim e assim por diante—contam-se entre as rainhas; diz-se que são milhares, mas (de modo notável) são dezesseis. E Pradyumna e os demais nasceram de Rukmiṇī, ao passo que Bhīma e os demais nasceram de Satyabhāmā.
