खनन्तः पृथिवीं दग्धा विष्णुना बहुसागराः असमञ्जसो ऽंश्रुमांश् च दिलीपो ऽंशुमतो ऽभवत्
khanantaḥ pṛthivīṃ dagdhā viṣṇunā bahusāgarāḥ asamañjaso 'ṃśrumāṃś ca dilīpo 'ṃśumato 'bhavat
Enquanto escavavam a terra, ela foi abrasada por Viṣṇu, e muitos mares vieram a existir. De Asamañjasa nasceu Aṃśrumān; de Aṃśrumān nasceu Dilīpa; e de Dilīpa nasceu Aṃśumān.
