चतुरस्रमित्यादिः, पञ्चाशदङ्गुलोच्छ्रयैर् इत्यन्तः पाठः जपुस्तके नास्ति द्विहस्तमिति ट पूजयेत्तद्धनुरिति ग , घ , ञ च रुक्मपुङ्खाः सुपङ्कास्ते तैलधौताः सुवर्णकाः यात्रायामभिषेकादौ यजेद्वाणधनुर्मुखान्

Começando com as palavras «(é) quadrangular», a leitura que termina com «com altura de cinquenta aṅgulas» não se encontra no manuscrito de Japu (recitação). Outra leitura traz «duas mãos (como medida)». Alguns manuscritos (ga, gha, ña) leem: «deve-se adorar esse arco». As flechas têm emplumagens metálicas douradas, são bem ajustadas e lisas, polidas com óleo e de aparência áurea. Em ocasiões como a yātrā (procissão régia) e nos ritos de abhiṣeka (consagração/ablução) e semelhantes, deve-se realizar o culto às flechas, ao arco e à boca/ponta do arco (extremidade do entalhe).
