Chapter 230: शकुनानि (Śakunāni) — Omens
प्रयातस्याग्रतो राम मृगः प्राणहरो भवेत् ऋक्षाखुजम्बुकव्याघ्रसिंहमार्जारगर्दभाः
prayātasyāgrato rāma mṛgaḥ prāṇaharo bhavet ṛkṣākhujambukavyāghrasiṃhamārjāragardabhāḥ
Ó Rāma, se ao partir um animal surge à frente como a bloquear o caminho, isso se torna um presságio capaz de tirar a vida; entre tais criaturas de mau agouro estão o urso, o rato, o chacal, o tigre, o leão, o gato e o jumento.
