Chapter 229 — शकुनानि (Śakuna: Omens)
श्वेताः सुमनसः श्रेष्ठाः पूर्णकुम्भो महोत्तमः मांसं मत्स्या दूरशब्दा वृद्ध एकः पशुस्त्वजः
śvetāḥ sumanasaḥ śreṣṭhāḥ pūrṇakumbho mahottamaḥ māṃsaṃ matsyā dūraśabdā vṛddha ekaḥ paśustvajaḥ
Objetos brancos, flores auspiciosas, pessoas excelentes e um pote de água cheio são sumamente favoráveis; do mesmo modo, carne e peixe, sons ouvidos ao longe, um velho encontrado sozinho e um animal que traz um estandarte (ou marcado como tal) também são contados como sinais altamente auspiciosos.
