प्रायश्चित्तानि (Expiations) — Association-Impurity, Purification Rites, and Graded Penance
अनिधायैव तद्द्रव्यं अङ्गे कृत्वा तु संस्थितं शौचं कृत्वान्नमभ्युक्ष्य अर्कस्याग्नेयश् च दर्शयेत्
anidhāyaiva taddravyaṃ aṅge kṛtvā tu saṃsthitaṃ śaucaṃ kṛtvānnamabhyukṣya arkasyāgneyaś ca darśayet
Sem pousar essa substância, mantendo-a sobre o corpo e permanecendo firme, deve realizar a purificação (śauca); depois, tendo aspergido o alimento (como oferenda), deve apresentá-lo a Sūrya (Arka) e a Agni na direção agneya (a do fogo).
