Lord Agni (narrating the remedial procedure in Agni Purana’s encyclopedic discourse)

Concept: Ritual causality and bodily therapy are combined: graha-śānti (symbolic/psychic) plus śiro-virecana routes (nasya/añjana) for tangible intervention.
Application: Treat ‘affliction’ holistically—address mind (śānti), environment (dik-pūjā), and body (nasya/añjana) together.

Related Themes: Agni Purāṇa 299 (graha-cikitsā cluster; nasya/añjana context)
It prescribes a combined graha-śānti remedy using Ayurvedic procedures (nasya and añjana) together with a ritual framework of directional worship, employing goat’s urine as a graha-dispelling substance.
It blends Jyotiṣa-based graha concepts with practical therapeutic measures from Ayurveda (nasal and ocular applications), showing how the Agni Purana compiles ritual, medicine, and astral remedial lore into a single applied manual.
By pairing purification/therapy with worship and graha-pacification, the act is framed as both a remedial treatment and a śānti practice intended to reduce harmful influences and restore auspiciousness (śubhatā) in one’s life.
