FAQs

It teaches a specific puṇya-prayoga: commissioning the construction of Hari’s gṛha (a shrine/temple or sacred dwelling) as a meritorious act that benefits one’s Pitṛs.

It exemplifies the Agni Purāṇa’s practical dharma-encyclopedia style—linking sacred building/ritual patronage (a topic allied to pūjā-vidhi and vastu/temple culture) with soteriological outcomes (ancestor upliftment and heavenly attainment).

The act of building for Hari generates powerful merit that is transferable to the ancestral line, resulting in the Pitṛs attaining and dwelling in Viṣṇuloka, “adorned” with divine status.
