तद्ब्रवीमि यथाशक्त्या यदि मे मन्यसे प्रिये ॥ हविष्ये वर्त्तमानानामिदं वर्षशतं गतम् ।
tad bravīmi yathāśaktyā yadi me manyase priye || haviṣye varttamānānām idaṃ varṣaśataṃ gatam
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਯੇ, ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ: ਹਵਿਸ਼੍ਯ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੀਊਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸੌ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਬੀਤ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ।
