ब्रह्मणो हृदयस्थानं कण्ठे विष्णुः समाश्रितः । तालुमध्ये स्थितो रुद्रो ललाटस्थो महेश्वरः ॥४१॥

ब्रह्मणः । हृदय-स्थानम् । कण्ठे । विष्णुः । समाश्रितः । तालु-मध्ये । स्थितः । रुद्रः । ललाट-स्थः । महा-ईश्वरः ॥४१॥

IAST Transliteration

brahmaṇo hṛdayasthānaṃ kaṇṭhe viṣṇuḥ samāśritaḥ | tālumadhye sthito rudro lalāṭastho maheśvaraḥ ||41||

Translation

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਦਾ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਸਥਾਨ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਕੰਠ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼ਠਿਤ ਹੈ; ਤਾਲੂ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ; ਲਲਾਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਹੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ।

Academic Translation

The seat of Brahman is in the heart. In the throat Viṣṇu is established; in the middle of the palate Rudra is situated; on the forehead is Maheśvara.
