gomatī nīrapūtānāṃ kṛṣṇavaktrāvalokinām | darśanātpātakaṃ teṣāṃ yāti janmaśatārjitam
Narrator (within Dvārakā Māhātmya; speaker not explicit in this verse)
Tirtha: Gomatī (Dvārakā)
Type: ghat
Scene: At Gomati-ghāṭ, pilgrims bathe in clear water; droplets sparkle; then they lift their gaze to a sanctum where Kṛṣṇa’s face is revealed in darśana—sins depicted as dark wisps dissolving and drifting away.
Tīrtha-snān (holy bathing) and Kṛṣṇa-darśana are portrayed as powerful means of dissolving long-stored karmic impurity.
Dvārakā—especially the Gomati river and the presence/darśana of Kṛṣṇa associated with the sacred locale.
Purification by Gomati water (snāna) and devotional seeing (darśana) of Kṛṣṇa.
