atha durvāsasaḥ śāpamavāpyāruntudaṃ tadā | yādavendrasya gṛhiṇī sahasā paryadevayat

ਤਦੋਂ ਦੁರ್ವਾਸਾ ਦੇ ਤੀਖੇ, ਚੁਭਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ, ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਣੀ (ਰੁਕਮਿਣੀ) ਅਚਾਨਕ ਵਿਲਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ।
