utkaṇṭhitā ati vayaṃ śrotuṃ dvāravatīṃ mudā | idamādau bubhutsāmaścittakhedāpanuttaye

Translation

ਅਸੀਂ ਅਤਿ ਉਤਕੰਠਾ ਨਾਲ, ਆਨੰਦ ਸਹਿਤ, ਦ੍ਵਾਰਵਤੀ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਤਪਰ ਹਾਂ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਹੀ ਜਾਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਦਾ ਖੇਦ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ।
