गौतम उवाच । आनीतासि मया देवि तपसाऽराध्य शंकरम् । वदिष्यति स चोपायमित्युक्त्वाऽचिन्तयत्तदा
gautama uvāca | ānītāsi mayā devi tapasā'rādhya śaṃkaram | vadiṣyati sa copāyamityuktvā'cintayattadā
ਗੌਤਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ਹੇ ਦੇਵੀ, ਮੈਂ ਤਪ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਦੀ ਆਰਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ। ‘ਉਹ ਹੀ ਉਪਾਯ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ’—ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਤਦ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
