श्रीमार्कंडेय उवाच । पितॄणां प्रेतरूपाणां कृत्वा वाक्यं महीपते । चंद्रशर्मा द्विजश्रेष्ठो द्वारकां समुपागतः

Transliteration

śrīmārkaṃḍeya uvāca | pitṝṇāṃ pretarūpāṇāṃ kṛtvā vākyaṃ mahīpate | caṃdraśarmā dvijaśreṣṭho dvārakāṃ samupāgataḥ

Translation

ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮਾਰਕੰਡੇਯ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਪ੍ਰੇਤ-ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਏ ਪਿਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਚੰਦਰਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨਾਮਕ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਦ੍ਵਿਜ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਕਾ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ।
